MONOPOLY for iPad App Reviews

The AI players perform ridiculous trades amongst each other. They give up monopolies to other AI players for virtually nothing in return. Trades no human player in their right mind would do. You must block AI monopolies or the game is over fast. Also, I cant prove it, but the dice rolls seem suspiciously slanted in favor of the AI characters.

This game is fun but only if its fair to both players; namely you and your opponent and in my case, my opponent is always the system named "Al". Im constantly landing on "Luxury Tax" and always being sent to Jail. My opponent constantly rolls the dice in doubles and always buys property. My opponent "Al" starts the game most of the time. In some occasions, I get sent to Jail 3 times at the very beginning of the game and way before I even pass "GO" for the first time. At this point, my funds have been depleted due to bail bonds. Like I said before, this game can be truly fun if its ONLY RATED FAIR GAME.

Please bring back monopoly hotels that was my favorite monopoly game

The good: the game is fast if you turn off the silly and superfluous animations. Tabletop mode is great, and the game (once you get it set up...see below) is generally fun. The bad: the AI is stupid, even on hard. In most cases, it will agree to the dumbest trades that a human would never agree to. The inexcusable: for some reason, the development team decided it would be fine to force you to re-select your house rules every game. It also asks you if you want to play in tutorial mode every time. Thats just sloppy and annoying.

Wont let everyone trade, go to click on other players tile and nothing happens.

Ive tried for maybe 2 weeks now to buy this on my iPad mini 4 but it wont work!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT!!!!!! It downloads about maybe half way or so and then tells me it cant be downloaded at this time..I even updated my iPad to see if that would work...NOPE!!!!!! Plz Electronic Arts help me, I want the game!!!?????? I cant believe I payed for no reason at all???

This game is good but it is really frustrating when the game keeps asking you if you are sure you want to do something (buy a property for example) there sound be a way to turn this feature off.

Its funny how I try and write a review that it wont let me post it, it keeps telling me that someone else has the same nick name so Ill try for the 3rd time with ridiculous made up names that I dont think anyone has, because my regular ones didnt work, but this game cheats badly with the dice, Ive played this game many many times now for a few months and Ive come to the conclusion that it cheats, its funny that Al constantly missed my properties with homes and I land on his regularly, it seems like he passes my properties on an average of 10 times before landing but I average maybe 2 times before I land on his,, the constant landing on taxes at the worst times and cards that make me payout a lot at specific times (which happens a lot!) all I want is this to be fair, Ive made counting charts on all the landings, I would like to roll the dice manually myself and punch the number in, than if I lose then I know it would be fair, I dont know if this is the worst $5 Ive spent or the best because I really like to play this game.

Its amazing how the AI knows what in going to roll and knows what card in going to pick up before I even pick it up.

This game cheats at any level but beginner. I owed 21 properties, the AI went around the board 7 times and never landed on one. On some of the sides I owned all the properties. Controlling the dice does not make the game challenging, it makes it useless. By the way if e Ai gets boardwalk and park place it is almost a guarantee you will lose.

Even though I am still addicted to this old time game, this version that I downloaded Cheats!! When played against the computer, clearly all odds are in its favor it lands on specific spots constantly. Its algorithm is built in which an idiot could decipher.

Finally works with my iPad Pro. Yes, this game cheats as that is the way the game calibrates the difficulty levels. So if its an easy setting it actually helps you cheat. But on the difficult level it cheats against you. So heres how you win this game. Remember its not how much money you make its whoever runs out of money loses. So you want to make the opponent run out of money. Let it buy the expensive properties. In order to buy all of the properties it lands on it will have to mortgage the ones that it already has and you wont have to pay rent when you land on those spaces. In the meantime you buy the cheap properties and you trade to get a MONOPOLY in those. If you land on an expensive property hit the pass button and let it negotiate its way up and pay for the property. Its also cheaper to put houses on cheap properties. Also the railroads are a great way to win. The computer apparently does not know how to cheat with railroads as it doesnt seem recognize them to skip over them. Keep money in reserve because sooner or later if youre winning it is going to hit you with the pay taxes on all of your houses card. Good luck.

Ive only bought this game so I can play over internet with friends and apparently I cant do that right now even thou it is advertised.This needs to be fixed

Monopoly not playing correctly since last update

My monopoly no longer works on iPad since update.....any news would be helpful.

Since up date I can only play in portrait mode and then will not always show on screen

My MOnopoly game for my iPad has worked well since I purchased it. Updating my iPad to the latest Apple version (10) it no longer works. It partly works in portrait, with most of it missing, and not at all in letterbox. Could this be resolved please.

Was a great game when it worked with prior iOS. Does NOT WORK after iOS 10 update. Dear app developers PLEASE UKDATE!!

Good to know I'm not the only one with a monopoly addiction and a very frustrating time with it. The app loads incompletely then none of the buttons work anyway. Please do something!
