Crappy experience for long time customers.

I know this is the best board game app on the app store. You should keep this game fresh. Add more environments, different tables and style of gameplay like for example, Monopoly Millionaire or Monopoly City. it would attract way more players who want to play any monopoly, anywhere. Also, you should add a Extremely Difficult mode that is almost impossible to win. Then you could bump the price up again so youd get more players, more money, and keep the game more awesome than it already is.

I love this app so much but it keeps crashing every time. I think everyone should get this game.

Both my husband and I bought this app for $4.99 each. While we’ve been really enjoying playing it...it’s a long game with jus 2 people. So we ‘save and exit’. Now, upon opening the app, we click on ‘reload game’ and WiFi, and the Saved game will not load. We’ve done this for 4 games now. Problems!

Im playing on the hardest level against the AI and have yet to lose a single game. He consistently makes the same mistakes over and over again. For instance he mortgages all his properties early one, meaning he collects no rent from me and when he does get money he buys more properties and still never unmortgages the others. So once again hes getting no rent and he cant build. Once I build a few houses / hotels its all over. Ive even made bogus deals with him just to try and give him a fair shot in the game. I guess people thought he wS too hard before but now hes way too easy.

This game works fine, no real issues (but the game, on every difficulty setting, strongly favors the CPU), yet has one bug that’s just about a deal breaker; tabletop mode works like a charm, no real issues, except you cannot trade anything! It has the option available, you can click it just fine, yet it says in game that you must “select a character token to trade,” yet you can select nothing. We saved and quit the game, restarted the iPad Pro, uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing. You cannot trade while in tabletop mode. That’s kind of a big deal. What’s the point of even playing?

It seems I downloaded some version from 1997. I know EA can do better because even my cheesy 2008 version for PC is better than this. Hard to see what properties youre holding. Hard to see where you or any other players are moving to. Weird currency notation (dollar sign wasnt available? Lol). Annoying glitter graphics when pieces move, even if you have animations turned of. Interactively its a complete mess. They made it so much harder than it needs to be. It seems Hasbro just doesnt want a good digital version of Monopoly available. No idea why.

Good looking well designed game that screws you. First you have to answer the same stupid questions EVERY TIME you open the game. When you roll doubles it tells you every time , like you dont know. But the real kicker is when you select the hardest level of play the AI screws you almost every time. I have probably played this app over a hundred times. Every time I played at he hardest level I get down to just one other opponent he will go to jail three out of every five turns around the board . Leaving me to land time after time on his properties whole he sits in jail suffering no losses what so ever. When he is moving around the board Im the only one landing on my properties . AI rigs the dice rolls so the AI player misses anything that hurts him. Im deleting the game I love to play .

Cheats. Flat out. Thats why they include the bogus "roll stats". Ive literally hit income tax FIVE TIMES STRAIGHT. I hit it multiple times every single game. The most I hit it on one game was EIGHT times. I stomp this game on every level. Hard is no different from easy in the way youre cheated on rolls. Hard just makes better management choices. So if you want to play a cheating idiot, put it on anything less than hard. If you want to play an average cheater, put it on hard. If youre an idiot, and dont mind being cheated, or youre just too oblivious to notice or care, buy a game that will cheat you, and put it on easy, and just know youre beating a cheating idiot, and youve done nothing. Deleted, Ill never play this cheating game again. Dont buy this cheating game. Go find something youll enjoy. Lifelong gamer here, since 85. RUN RUN RUN FROM THIS POS.

You get no money from free parking!!!!! Where does the money from jail go??!????!?!?!??you guys are stupid.you need to let us have our own rules

Easy mode allows you to manipulate the AI which is not fun. Hard mode, instead of making the AI smarter just turns the dice against you to make the game "harder" which again is not fun. The game needs better AI. Dont waste your money on this you will be left quite unsatisfied at best and frustrated at worst.

The app has a bug. When you want to trade and click on a player, some of them wont work. This means you can only trade with one player the entire game.

I owned at least most of the board in the game and the ai didnt land on any of my stiff while I kept landing on all of its. Screw the game being in favor of the ai. Waster of money do not buy

Its more manageable on the phone but HORRIBLE on the iPad Pro and completely take the fun of the game away. Turning animations off barely helps. Please build in more control options to keep the board stationary instead of the constant zooming in and out, and the ability to completely hide animations and the on-screen log.

This version of the game is really terrible. I like all of the house rules but the way the board moves around and the different animations is dumb. There could be many improvements to the UI. My biggest complaint, however, is that the AI players are really bad with strategy. Who in the real world gives another player a monopoly so you can get a higher value property?! No one plays like that. Would like to see a version of the game where you could play strangers online.

Me and my brother both love monopoly, but we both accuse each other with cheating and we get into arguments, so then we cant play anymore. So when I got this app it was so much simpler and we didnt fight anymore. But now my brother doesnt want to play and my sister doesnt want to either, and I love this game but since I had deleted it from before, for some reason its taking about an hour to download, so thats why it doesnt get a 5 star review.

Constant motion of the "camera" during play. Turning animation off only stops animation of pieces moving from place to place. The animation can almost give you motion sickness, at least on ipad. Ive played a few times, but it may be a deal killer for me. Wish you could turn all motion off except dice role. I guess they think it makes it cool.

Who cares what your stats are? I started a game, deep into it and landed on Free Parking. First player to do that in this current game. I expected to get money so i could build houses. No money. I Checked the House Rules and realized I hadnt changed the House Rules so NO Free Parking money in this game. My choices for this game are now either to continue THIS game so there is NO money, landing in GO is NOT double and there IS a house limit or abandon the game, THEN change the house rules and then start ALL OVER AGAIN. The programming on this game definitely needs some work to have it reflect more of what seems to be a real game. For instance in the current game that I just abandoned the AI had $2200 and I had $26. Big deal, it happens depending on what property you buy, or how many times you land on safe squares. But for this current game I was landing on the luxury tax and the income tax every time I went around the square. I am not exaggerating. The AI landed on those a of couple times but then it would land on free parking and collect its money AND my money. The AI also landed on the Go Square so it got even more money there. And got both of the Advance to Go cards. I abandon a lot of games when I see them heavily favor the AI. Fix this already.

Game is great, play solo. Two suggestions to improve. First, an option to save the option choices so dont have to reselect each time. That is the piece choice, the house rules, etc. Secondly improve the AI. I can almost always beat it at the hard level because it will trade to give me the full suit of a color for something including money not a good deal longer term. Its OK, I like to win, but a human would figure that out.
